What are your opening times?
Do you have a display?
Yes we do, both internal and external and display boards too. We are a “bricks and mortar” business, no sitting around here in a darkened room waiting for emails!
I only need a few square metres, do you split packs?
We cannot offer split packs on online orders. For ex yard or local deliveries on our own vehicle we can. We also cannot offer split packs of Porcelain paving.
I have made an order but cannot make payment, what happens next?
We will have a copy of your order and will phone you on the same or next working day. If you wish to proceed we can take payment over the phone.
Is delivery included?
Yes, all our prices include a standard tail lift kerbside delivery to most UK postcodes. Someone must be available to accept your delivery.
So is there an extra charge on certain postcodes?
Yes, those postcode at the moment are AB / DD / IV / KA27 + 28 / PA 20 to 75 / PH / PO 30 to 41. You will still be able to order for these postcodes at our standard rate but an extra charge “will” apply. We will call you with the charge when we have spoken to the carrier.
Can they put it on my drive?
That depends; if delivery happens when your contractors are on site and surfaces allow, it may be possible. Any other arrangement other than kerbside is between you and the driver.
What happens if some are broken?
I’m afraid there is not a lot we can do. We always check our stock before despatch but if some do get broken in transit, most can be used for cuts. Remember you should allow 10% for cuts and possibly the odd broken flag.
How much is in a pack?
This can vary; please click onto the product and all the information you require will be there, either in the product headline or in the text. Pack sizes, number of sizes and how many of each etc will be written down for you.
Can I pay COD?
No, payment with all orders either via the website, bank transfer or by phone.
What time will my delivery arrive?
It could arrive anytime between 7am and 6pm, unfortunately we cannot give a time.
Do I have to be there to accept delivery?
In a word; yes. We recently had to re-deliver an order the next day because the customer “nipped out for 10 minutes” and we couldn’t contact them. Charge from the carrier company was an extra £156. If anything will go wrong it’s when you’re not there to advise.
What happens if my delivery doesn’t arrive?
Please call us as soon as you can, a second attempt at delivery normally takes place the next working day. Late deliveries are normally caused by unexpected local traffic problems (congestion, accidents, road works/closures etc).
How long will my order take to arrive?
Delivery from order time of most items normally takes about 4 days.
When should I order my stone?
We strongly recommend you order so you receive your stone at least 3 or 4 days before you need it. We will not accept liability for standing labour if your delivery arrives late
I don’t need my stone for a few weeks, do I have to take delivery now?
No, if full payment is made we can hold your order until you are ready. We just ask for a few days notice to organise your delivery.
Do you send samples out?
Yes but there is a charge of £18 to cover courier costs. If you are local to us and can collect we will gladly give you any samples from stock
